It’s time to embrace Sustainable Fashion…

Did you know, the apparel and footwear industries account for a combined estimate of 8% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, and fashion is the third highest-polluting industry in the world?

It’s crazy when you think about it. Designers, and creators put so much love and detail into each clothing that reaches our shelves, only for it to be worn a couple time and end up in the rubbish.

As this becomes more normal, fast fashion has stormed forward, creating cheaper clothing, of a lesser quality, to satisfy those wearing once and throwing away. However, this comes at a great environmental cost.

This is why I started The Green Dress in Wareham. I wanted to make shopping sustainable easy to the average person. Many often think that buying good quality clothing is expensive, or buying pre-loved means damaged or tired. This is not the case.

All clothing sold at The Green Dress undergo’s strict standards to ensure it is of both high quality and has plenty of life left in it! Take the fuss and faff out of buying pre-loved clothing, and shop sustainable.
