What is The Green Dress?
“The Green Dress” opened its doors in the small town of Wareham Dorset in 2020.
Fast fashion has dominated the clothing space, leading to many ethical and environmental issues. We had a mission to offer good quality New and Pre-loved sustainable clothing at great prices.
Every time you spend money, you are casting a vote for the kind of world you want. Buy less, choose well, and make it last.

Where is the store?
Our small (but perfectly sized!) store is located in the heart of Wareham, Dorset.
We have a full range of all clothing, a changing room to allow you to try before you buy and a friendly face to greet you at the door!

We take in your unwanted clothing!
Did you know? We take in good quality clothing to resell in our store in Wareham!
What is ‘good quality'? Good quality to us means no marks or holes not originally part of the clothing. If you decide to bring some unwanted clothing into the store, we will review the items to ensure it meets our required standards for resale before accepting.
How will this work? All items brought in will be reviewed to ensure it meets standards, and if accepted, we offer a Sale or Return basis for all clothing accepted. If an item is sold, we offer 40% of the Sale Price in return for the item. If the item does not sell, we return it to you, with no fees.
